Hello! I’m an emerging designer and artist based in the lower mainland of Vancouver, BC.

I hold a Masters of Design from Emily Carr University (2019) and I’m currently in the process of opening my own design studio under the name post.studio. This is where I will share my ideas with the public and invite others to engage in a material based practice that looks at the different ways objects can inform how we interact - with others and each other, objects, ourselves and everything else. The studio will also function as a form of community building through 2 to 3 dimensional modes of making and how we can shift a collective mode of thinking from excess to access. Please check it out! postpostpost.studio

here are a few samples of my designs and thoughts over the years (through a series of stools I’ve made).

This is the final stool I made towards the end of my studies at Emily Carr University. it was deigned through a process of deconstruction before it was put together. Each component was made with the intent of becoming something else before it came together in this final form. A series of assemblages and performances were drawn out when the stool was deconstructed.

This is the accumulation of my research at Emily Carr University. Through a material based practice I looked at the many ways we interact with objects and each other. Rooted in self identity, I developed 4 sessions with designers and artists of various backgrounds and skill sets to pose 4 questions: how do we talk, think, read, and write. The written document was deconstructed into a physical form.

A stool I made to bring with me to Glasgow where I attempted to situate it within a context. A look at how site informs the design process.

A stool that was informed by the structure of a Haiku.

This was a look at language and the ways in which it can be used as a tool in making.
